The story behind the screen.
Lawrie Brewster, Sarah Daly, Tom Staunton, Oliver Revie and Megan Tremethick direct the collection, bringing different approaches to Lovecraft’s fiction. The second For We Are Many anthology turns from the first film’s demonic encounters towards cosmic horror, with a company of British and Irish filmmakers shaping its interwoven nightmares.
Tremethick also directs a tale inspired by The Haunter of the Dark, with Nicholas Vince confronting a darkness beyond human understanding. Brewster’s contribution draws on British science fiction, including Doctor Who and Quatermass, pairing Tremethick with Michael Daviot in a story of a terrible discovery beneath the earth. Laurence R. Harvey appears as the leader of an oppressed community of fish-men.
The ensemble includes Andrew Gourlay, Stephen Kerr, Dorian Todd, Sam McMillan and Novarro Ramon, alongside Peter Mahoney, Nick Ford and Brewster himself. The film is currently in post-production.
