In the Grip of Terror marks the long-awaited return of Amicus Productions, the legendary British horror banner famed for its classic portmanteau films. Revived through the British Horror Studio, the picture restores the anthology tradition with a new collection of sinister tales bound together by dread, guilt, psychological torment, and the creeping sense that some stories should never be told aloud.

Set within a shadowed world of troubled patients, strange confessions, and institutional unease, the film brings together a repertory cast led by Megan Tremethick, with appearances from Golden Globe nominee Jane Merrow, Laurence R. Harvey, Dorian Todd, Sam McMillan, Michael Daviot, Novarro Ramon, Nick Ford, and Lawrie Brewster.
