Orders and payments

Our checkout is provided by Snipcart, with payments handled by the payment provider offered at checkout. We use the contact, billing and delivery details you supply to process your order, provide downloads, arrange delivery and handle customer support. We retain the records needed to fulfil orders and meet accounting obligations. Placing an order does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

The magazine and email updates

If you choose to sign up, Brevo processes your email address and consent and sends a confirmation link. After you confirm, we may email the quarterly magazine, film and Kickstarter announcements and special offers covered by your consent. You can unsubscribe using the link in every marketing email. We keep the information needed to honour your consent and any unsubscribe request.

Services and storage

Netlify hosts the website. Snipcart uses browser storage to operate the basket and checkout. We store a temporary preference to avoid repeatedly showing the newsletter invitation. Our newsletter form loads Brevo’s services. Video players load from YouTube when you choose to watch a trailer. These providers may process information outside the UK under their applicable data-protection arrangements.

Your choices

You may contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, or to raise an objection or withdraw marketing consent. Some transaction records must be retained for legal or accounting reasons. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
