Oliver Revie

Oliver Revie is one of the British Horror Studio’s most dedicated rising filmmakers, a loyal and much-loved presence whose journey reflects the studio’s belief in developing talent from the ground up. Beginning as a student volunteer on work experience, he steadily earned the trust of the senior team through diligence, reliability, curiosity, and hard work, eventually becoming a valued freelance crew member across Hex Studios, The B-Team, and the wider British Horror Studio. His first major production role came as a production assistant on The Vance Institute, and since then his growing range of skills has made him one of the studio’s most dependable young all-rounders.

Over time, Revie has become something of a Swiss Army knife of production talent, assisting with camera operation, audio recording, post-production, production craft, and direction. His reliability and increasing confidence led Lawrie Brewster and the senior producers to identify his potential as a director, resulting in his appointment as one of the co-directors of Mr Whispers, The B-Team’s horror feature debut, alongside Dorian Todd and Seumas MacNeil. The film marked a major step forward for The B-Team and for Revie as a developing filmmaker.

Revie’s tastes are shaped by a strong affection for slashers, 1970s horror culture, science fiction, and the stranger corners of popular cinema. That unorthodox imagination, combined with his charm, compassion, humour, and increasing technical confidence, has made him a filmmaker the studio is eager to support. As he continues to develop through direction, cinematography, audio post-production, and practical crew work, Oliver Revie represents exactly the kind of young artist The B-Team exists to nurture: loyal, inventive, unpredictable, and still at the beginning of an exciting creative journey.
