Chris Capaldi

Chris Capaldi

Actor • Model • Screen Performer
Chris Capaldi is one of the British Horror Studio’s most charismatic screen presences: rugged, handsome, physically commanding, and unmistakably photogenic. A former model and face of the Scotch Beef campaign, Capaldi brings the camera-awareness of a classic leading man to his performances, with a Sean Connery-esque mixture of masculine charm, humour, and physical confidence. Tall, powerful, and naturally at ease with light and lens, he has become a valued collaborator whose wit and warmth charm both audiences and crews behind the camera.

In The Slave and the Sorcerer, Capaldi plays Prince Laram, the hilariously self-assured nobleman whose theatrical intensity and comic bravado make him the perfect foil to Chris Black’s Tyrol. He also brings strong dramatic weight to The Reign of Queen Ginnarra as Duke Ramast, a rebel nobleman caught in the political conspiracies surrounding Queen Ginnarra’s reign, and appears in Amicus Productions’ In the Grip of Terror as the heart-throb Dr Richard Maitland, acting opposite Golden Globe nominee Jane Merrow and British Horror Studio star Megan Tremethick. Whether romantic, comic, villainous, or heroic, Chris Capaldi represents the studio’s old-fashioned matinee idol tradition: charismatic, witty, powerful, and built for the screen.
“The Sean Connery of the British Horror Studio: rugged, charming, photogenic, and built for the screen.”
