Alexander Zorn

Actor
Alexander Zorn is one of the British Horror Studio’s most distinctive recurring character actors, bringing authority, intelligence, and a rugged old-world screen presence to the studio’s growing repertory company. Originally studying acting at the prestigious Juilliard School in New York during his youth, Zorn combines classical dramatic discipline with the weathered intensity and grounded realism that have made him a memorable presence across a number of British Horror Studio and Hex Studios productions.

His performances often evoke figures of authority, conflict, and moral ambiguity, lending themselves naturally to historical horror, Gothic cinema, and psychologically charged drama.

Within the studio’s productions, Zorn has portrayed a wide range of striking characters, including the enigmatic Mr Johnson in the Amicus Productions anthology In the Grip of Terror, Arnold Wright in Ghost Crew, Wade, an American mercenary in the eighteenth-century horror epic Sony, Detective Clark in the Hex Studios production Spoiling You, and Alexander, Captain of the Guard, in The Slave and the General.

Whether playing military men, investigators, survivors, or morally conflicted authority figures, Zorn brings a seriousness and commanding presence that reflects the British Horror Studio’s emphasis on theatrical performance, atmosphere, and classic character-driven cinema.
“A commanding repertory presence, suited to soldiers, investigators, survivors and men burdened by duty.”
